I learned something new today -- about a GSAK Macro

Someone posted in the Forums about where your "cache centroid" was located. I didn't know what that was, or how to figure it out.

After finding out there was one program for it . . . that doesn't work on this computer, someone suggested the "FindStatsGen" Macro for GSAK.

What a cool tool! My "Cache Centroid" is located in Anza Borrego Desert State Park, the place that just rudely banned Geocaching without notice, proceeding to continue picking up and throwing away cache containers, some of which had been in the Park for more than seven years.

Too bad! It would have been fun to place a cache where my "Cache Centroid" was, if it had been possible.

  • Is the FindStatsGen macro on older versions of GSAK, or just the latest version? Inquiring minds want to know.

  • Here's another link for another geocaching blog. I'm not the owner, but am one of the main contributors at the moment.
